- Ask who carries out each part, including making the incisions, removing the grafts and placing them. Get the names first, then look up each one on the public register of the national medical council.
- Request a written plan that lists the graft count, the zones, and the price for that count.
- Ask the clinic to show you its own patients at 12 months, with matching light and angle. Results appear for most people in six to nine months, and some see them at 12 (AAD).
- When growth is poor, find out what happens, including whether a second session is covered and until when.
- Cost out the full first year: follow-up visits, medicine, the procedure, travel costs and time away from work.
