Published hair transplant prices in Orlando, organized by graft band
4 clinics in Orlando list a price for hair transplants on their own site. Each clinic is counted once per row using its lowest price for that row, and a clinic may appear in more than one row.
| What the clinic prices | Clinics | Median | Middle of the range |
|---|---|---|---|
| Package, graft count not stated | 4 | $5,400 | $4,550–$5,950 |
Each clinic writes its own prices, and we captured them from its pages in US dollars, using European Central Bank reference rates from November 3, 2026. “Middle of the range” covers the middle half of the clinics; when fewer than four publish, it shows the full range instead. A package can include hotel and transfers. The profile carries the clinic's own words. ECB rates.
Use the cost calculator to find the published price range for your graft count in United States.

Methods and the number of local clinics that offer each one
| Method | Clinics | How grafts are taken | Donor area afterwards |
|---|---|---|---|
| FUE | 13 | One follicular unit at a time, removed through a small round punch. | Small dot scars sit across the donor area, and no line is left. |
| Sapphire FUE | 0 | The clinic’s own term for FUE using sapphire-tipped blades to make the recipient cuts | As FUE |
| DHI | 0 | The clinic’s own term for FUE where grafts are placed with an implanter pen | As FUE |
| FUT | 11 | A strip of scalp is removed, then cut into units under a microscope | A single linear scar, usually hidden by the hair above |
| Robotic | 3 | FUE with a robot-guided punch | As FUE |
With FUE there is no linear donor scar, and crusts clear by day 7–10 in most cases (Front Med 2026 review). The average scalp harvest in 820 advanced FUE cases came to 2,956 grafts per case (Chouhan 2019). These counts cover the clinics here that name the method on their own site.
Norwood stage and graft counts in published cases
On the Norwood scale, male hair loss is graded from I to VII. I means none, and VII means just a band of hair at the back and sides. The graft counts come from two published series where surgeons used them, not from any quote for your scalp.
| Norwood stage | Grafts used | Men |
|---|---|---|
| II | 500–1,000 | 15 |
| III | 1,000–1,800 | 63 |
| IV | 1,500–3,300 | 67 |
| V | 1,500–4,000 | 13 |

| Stage V–VII, area covered | Average grafts | Men |
|---|---|---|
| Front only | 2,982 | 308 |
| Front and mid-scalp | 4,164 | 352 |
| Crown only | 2,770 | 24 |
| Full coverage | 6,237 | 100 |
Source: 820 men at stage V–VII, Chouhan et al., J Cutan Aesthet Surg 2019, table 2.
The stage by itself does not set the number. In one study, two men rated Norwood 3V needed graft totals of 3,900 and 6,150 once their bald areas were measured (Pittella et al., 2024). A quote handed over before your scalp gets measured is a guess.
Five points to settle before you book
- Ask who handles every step, from the incisions to taking and placing the grafts. Ask for the names, then check each of them with your state medical board, or all states at once on DocInfo.
- Ask for a plan in writing: how many grafts, which zones, and what that number costs.
- Ask the clinic to show you its own patients at 12 months, shown under the same light and angle. Results show up at six to nine months for most people, and at 12 for some (AAD).
- Find out what occurs if growth is poor, whether another session is included, and how long that offer lasts.
- Add up every cost for year one: the procedure, medicine, visits for follow-up, travel, and missed work time.
