So far, none of the checked clinics in Singapore posts a hair transplant price on its own website. For that reason, Singapore has no price table.

FUE graft extraction from the donor area at the back of the scalp

The methods, and how many clinics here offer each one

MethodClinicsHow grafts are takenDonor area afterwards
FUE6Follicular units taken one at a time using a small round punchSmall dot scars are spread over the donor area, with no line.
Sapphire FUE1The clinic’s own name for FUE, using sapphire-tipped blades for the cuts in the recipient areaAs FUE
DHI0The clinic's own term for FUE, where an implanter pen places the grafts. As FUE
FUT2A strip of scalp taken out, then cut into units under a microscopeA single linear scar, usually covered by hair above it
Robotic3FUE with a robot-guided punchAs FUE

Crusts usually clear by day 7–10 following FUE, which leaves no linear scar in the donor area (Front Med 2026 review). For 820 advanced FUE cases, scalp harvests averaged 2,956 grafts per case (Chouhan 2019). A clinic is counted only when its own website identifies the method.

Published graft counts by Norwood stage

Male hair loss is rated on the Norwood scale from I (none) to VII (at the back and sides, only a band remains). Two published series report the graft counts that surgeons actually used. They do not provide a quote for your scalp.

In Wang et al., BMC Surgery 2024, table 2, the source covers 158 men treated with FUE.

The stage on its own does not decide the number. In one study, two men with Norwood 3V required 3,900 and 6,150 grafts after their bald areas were measured (Pittella et al., 2024). Before your scalp is measured, any quote remains a guess.

Five points to settle before booking

  1. Find out who handles every stage, including making incisions, removing grafts, and placing them. Check every name against the national medical council’s public register after obtaining it.
  2. Request a written plan that states the graft count, zones, and cost for that count.
  3. Ask to see how the clinic's own patients look at 12 months, under matching light and from matching angles. Results usually appear within six to nine months for most people, though some appear at 12 (AAD).
  4. Find out what happens when growth is poor. Ask whether a second session is included and how long that applies.
  5. Add up what the first year costs: the procedure itself, medicine, follow-up visits, travel, plus time off work.
